Role overview

This part-time remote position is for an English Specialist supporting one of the client’s education initiatives. The role is focused on reviewing English language proficiency work from non-native speakers and scoring both written and spoken submissions against defined standards.

What you will do

• Assess written and spoken English responses and determine the appropriate proficiency level.
• Apply the provided scoring rules and rubrics consistently when grading submissions.
• Share precise, easy-to-understand feedback on language performance.
• Record evaluation outcomes carefully for quality control and audit purposes.
• Work within tight deadlines while safeguarding the confidentiality of assessment content.

Required profile

• Native-level or near-native command of English is mandatory.
• Experience in language assessment, teaching, or a closely related area is preferred.
• You should be detail-oriented and comfortable working with structured evaluation guidelines.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills in English are essential.
• Knowledge of language proficiency frameworks such as CEFR will be considered an advantage.
