Role Overview

We seek an enthusiastic faculty member specializing in English and General Awareness to support aspirants preparing for various government competitive examinations. Preference will be given to candidates adept at utilizing technology for online and hybrid instruction and who actively contribute to academic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Instruct candidates preparing for English sections of competitive exams such as Banking, SSC, Railway, OSSC, OSSSC, etc.
• Deliver lessons on General Awareness and current events as preferred.
• Cover comprehensive topics including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, cloze tests, error spotting, sentence improvement, para-jumbles, and fill-in-the-blanks relevant to competitive English exams.
• Develop lesson plans, study materials, assignments, mock exams, and question banks.
• Lead classroom discussions, resolve queries, conduct revision sessions, and monitor student performance.
• Advise students on effective exam strategies and preparation methods.
• Conduct online or hybrid classes through Google Meet or equivalent platforms when required.
• Collaborate with the academic team regarding scheduling, curriculum materials, and student progress tracking.
• Contribute to the creation and enhancement of academic content and other educational initiatives at the academy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong command of English language and grammar is essential.
• Good understanding of General Awareness and current affairs is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
• Capability to motivate and actively engage learners.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Positive professional attitude and eagerness to learn continuously.
• Preferably experienced in coaching candidates for Banking, SSC, Railway, OSSC, or OSSSC exams.
• Familiarity with online teaching tools such as Google Meet and Zoom, and hybrid teaching models.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of AI tools like ChatGPT would be a plus.
• Graduates or postgraduates in English or any discipline with excellent English skills are qualified.
• Freshers with strong subject mastery, communication skills, and teaching aptitude are welcome to apply.

Employment Details

The position is available both full-time and part-time with flexible working hours to accommodate suitable candidates. Salaries are negotiable based on academic qualifications, experience, teaching capacity, and hours worked.
