Job Overview

Become a vital part of an exceptional hospitality team where your work brightens guests' experiences daily. As an Engineering Technician, you will assist in maintaining hotel equipment and infrastructure to ensure smooth operations and memorable guest stays.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply fully with all staff rules, regulations, and management directives to ensure safe and proper equipment operation.
• Maintain routine operation of power, water, gas, heating, and cooling systems within the hotel premises.
• Accurately inspect and document equipment operation and shift handover records promptly.
• Perform regular inspections and upkeep of assigned equipment and facilities to keep them functioning well.
• Implement energy-saving measures to control and optimize energy consumption.
• Support maintenance activities related to banquets and meetings to ensure all event-related equipment works efficiently.
• Conduct routine tests on generators to guarantee uninterrupted power supply during outages.
• Oversee fire safety measures, inspecting preventive actions and promptly addressing any violations.
• Supervise and train fellow technicians and apprentices, fostering skill development and professionalism.
• Manage and track work tools used by the team, maintain usage logs, and enforce discipline when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

• Understanding of large data centre infrastructure including power supply, air conditioning, fire control, security, monitoring, and network systems, with ability to diagnose faults.
• Willingness to work extended day and night monitoring shifts and dedicate sufficient time to study and improve skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and eagerness to learn.
• Active, motivated, and service-oriented mindset.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with capability to work independently.
