  • Collaborate extensively with teams across Energy Strategy, Sustainability, Engineering, Renewable Energy, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Policy, Regulatory Affairs, Technology, and executive management to achieve energy transition aims.
  • Perform energy assessments, analyze carbon footprints, conduct transition planning and technology evaluation studies, and assess investment feasibility.
  • Develop frameworks for renewable energy uptake, electrification, emissions reduction, energy optimization, and climate resilience.
  • Manage projects involving solar power, energy storage, hydrogen technologies, carbon management, smart grids, energy efficiency measures, and emerging clean energy solutions.
  • Analyze energy markets, regulatory changes, technology trends, climate-related policies, and investment possibilities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Create business cases, financial models, project proposals, and transition scenarios along with detailed implementation plans for energy transformation programs.
  • Track critical KPIs such as greenhouse gas emission reductions, renewable energy adoption rates, energy efficiency gains, carbon intensity, sustainability goals, project performance, investment returns, and milestones reached.
  • Conduct energy audits, sustainability evaluations, lifecycle analyses, benchmarking, and continuous improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE energy laws, sustainability frameworks, climate policies, environmental regulations, ESG standards, and governance protocols.
  • Oversee budgets, coordinate with technology suppliers, engineering consultants, research collaborators, government entities, and strategic sustainability projects.
  • Drive digital transformation via energy management systems, AI-enhanced energy analytics, smart grid tech, IoT monitoring, predictive optimization, digital twin technology, automation, and business intelligence tools.
  • Utilize software and platforms including EMS, SAP, Oracle ERP, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Tableau, EnergyCAP, RETScreen, PVsyst, sustainability reporting systems, carbon accounting tools, and project management applications to monitor progress and generate insight reports.
  • Prepare executive dashboards, detailed transition reports, sustainability analyses, carbon reduction evaluations, investment assessments, regulatory filings, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring for energy analysts, sustainability experts, project managers, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams fostering a culture of innovation, environmental stewardship, collaboration, and ongoing development.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sustainability, Climate Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree in Energy Management, Sustainability, Renewable Energy, Environmental Policy, Engineering Management, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Preferable professional credentials such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), LEED accreditation, PMP, GHG Protocol, ESG certifications, or ISO 50001 Lead Auditor.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in energy transition, renewable energy, sustainability, energy management, decarbonization, or environmental strategy roles.
  • At least two years managing energy transformation programs, renewable energy projects, sustainability initiatives, or expansive transition strategies is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of renewable technologies, energy efficiency, carbon reduction methods, climate policy, ESG principles, energy markets, sustainability reporting, and clean technology innovations.
