Job description
Role Overview
WithCoverage is reimagining insurance brokerage through AI-driven risk management for modern businesses. The company works with a broad mix of fast-growing and influential organizations, including consumer brands, hospitality companies, general contractors, advanced manufacturers, and defense contractors. Its platform combines proprietary technology with experienced risk advisors to improve visibility across policies, claims, billing, commissions, and exposures.
This opening is for an early recruit on the Talent team who will help build the hiring engine behind the company’s growth. The role partners closely with leadership to hire across Sales, Growth, Product, Engineering, Risk, and other essential functions while also shaping recruiting workflows and strategy as the organization scales.
Location
There is a preference for someone based near the company’s hubs in New York, NY, Chicago, or Philadelphia, though a remote candidate located anywhere in the United States may also be considered.
What You Will Own
- Manage the full recruiting cycle for critical roles, beginning with intake and ending with offer acceptance and closing.
- Work closely with the Head of Talent and hiring leaders to clarify headcount needs, role scope, and the profile of the ideal hire.
- Find and engage candidates proactively through LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Juicebox, and other sourcing approaches.
- Maintain healthy candidate pipelines in Greenhouse and help ensure a smooth, positive experience for applicants.
- Run interview coordination, gather feedback, and keep the decision process moving efficiently.
- Represent WithCoverage externally by communicating its mission, culture, and value proposition to prospective hires.
- Use Slack and other collaboration tools to keep cross-functional stakeholders aligned throughout hiring.
- Monitor recruiting metrics and look for ways to improve speed, quality, and overall hiring effectiveness.
- Help refine recruiting processes and best practices as the business continues to expand.
Candidate Profile
The ideal hire brings 3 to 5+ years of end-to-end recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on outbound sourcing for roles in Sales, Growth, Product, Engineering, Risk, and similar areas. A mix of agency/high-volume recruiting and in-house corporate recruiting experience is preferred. The person should have worked in startup or other high-growth environments, feel comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and be confident influencing hiring decisions with stakeholders. A structured, data-minded, and adaptable working style is important, along with a strong interest in building diverse and high-performing teams from the ground up.
Compensation and Benefits
For candidates based in the United States, the expected base salary at the start of employment is $100,000 to $140,000 per year. Final compensation may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Total rewards may also include equity, a performance-based annual bonus, and employee benefits.
- Equity participation as part of the overall compensation package
- Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage
- Pre-tax savings options, including FSA, HSA, dependent care FSA, and commuter benefits
- 401(k) plan administration through Human Interest
- Flexible time off, sick leave, family and medical leave, and major national holidays
- Access to a thoughtfully designed in-office experience that supports community and collaboration
- Open, team-oriented, and enjoyable workplace culture
