Role overview
Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 4 Employment Support Officer to join its Mental Health Employment Support Service. The role is based in Yeovil and will support people across the South Somerset area.
This opportunity sits within a committed countywide team that helps people receiving support from Somerset NHS Foundation Trust mental health services to enter paid work or stay in employment. The service recognises that meaningful work can support recovery, while losing a job can have a significant adverse effect on mental wellbeing.
The successful applicant will be mainly located in South Somerset and will have access to an on-site supervisor. They will also be part of a larger countywide Mental Health Employment Service that works alongside Community Mental Health Teams.
