Role Overview

The Legal team at Revolut delivers clear and practical guidance to various departments, enabling fast and secure business expansion. As an Employment Counsel, you will provide expert legal advice on employment matters, collaborating closely with local management and the Human Resources team to navigate issues ranging from contract drafting to regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Offer legal counsel to local leadership, employee relations, and HR on diverse employment concerns such as grievances, dismissals, and contract matters.
Lead and coordinate cross-border employment law projects within EMEA and globally, engaging external legal advisors when needed.
Ensure adherence to local labor regulations, including compliance with working time laws.
Advise on matters relating to global employee mobility and contingent workforce management.
Oversee processes related to compensation structures, benefits, bonuses, and equity schemes.
Handle regulatory issues linked to conduct, remuneration policies, and respond to regulatory investigations.
Manage employment disputes, negotiate exits, and finalize settlements effectively.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum of three years’ experience as a qualified employment attorney, having practiced at a leading UK law firm or within an in-house legal team of a multinational corporation.
Comprehensive understanding of UK employment legislation.
Fluency in English with superior legal research capabilities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and perform under tight deadlines.
Analytical and pragmatic thinking to deliver innovative, proactive legal solutions.
Experience working in diverse, international teams.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across business units.
A passion for technology and eagerness to contribute to a fast-moving global team.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in banking or regulatory affairs is advantageous.
Experience working in-house legal roles.
Knowledge of cross-border employment law issues within EMEA and APAC regions.
