Role summary

In this position, you will manage a client portfolio made up of people who are looking for work as part of their rehabilitation journey. The job involves travelling across hubs within your region for face-to-face meetings, while attending the office once a month for team catch-ups.

Key duties

  • Support clients as they prepare to re-enter employment.
  • Reach out to employers to discuss staffing needs, incentives, job trials, and placements.
  • Help clients create and refine their resumes.
  • Deliver job-search training using the relevant training modules.
  • Assist with career planning and matching candidates to suitable roles.
  • Build and maintain local relationships with prospective employers.
  • Provide follow-up support after placement.

Candidate profile

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Background in recruitment or in helping people with barriers to employment find new work.
  • Access to a car and a valid driver’s licence.
  • Strong time management skills and close attention to detail.
  • Confidence in building productive stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Strong telephone manner and the ability to network with potential employers.
  • Police check, or willingness to obtain one before starting.
