Role overview
Flourish Australia has launched new services under the Inclusive Employment Australia program and is seeking an Employment Coordinator to help set up and expand these services. The role is full-time, rostered for 76 hours per fortnight, worked Monday to Friday, and based in Caboolture.
Compensation and work pattern
This position is classified at Level 4 under the Flourish Australia Enterprise Agreement (2018), which equates to $88,000 per year plus superannuation and tax-free salary packaging.
The role is a weekday, on-site position with a standard full-time workload of 76 hours every fortnight.
Key responsibilities
As part of the Inclusive Employment Australia program, the Employment Coordinator will deliver program-specific support and help strengthen employment outcomes for participants.
- Interpret and work within the Flourish Australia IEA operational guidelines, ensuring all related procedures and policies are followed.
- Build connections with local employers and businesses to identify and develop suitable job opportunities for participants.
- Offer mentoring, practical support, and ongoing assistance to help participants keep their jobs and improve placement retention.
- Monitor employment placements carefully and track outcomes to support long-term success.
- Partner with local site teams and community networks to help participants address vocational and non-vocational barriers to work.

Flourish Australia is looking for an experienced, energetic, and relationship-focused person who is committed to helping participants move into sustainable employment.

- Demonstrated success in achieving strong placement and retention outcomes.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment.
- Genuine interest in workforce development and supporting others to succeed.
Selection criteria
- Experience in disability services, ideally within Disability Employment Services, Inclusive Employment Australia, or comparable programs.
- Qualifications in training and assessment, employment services, mental health, community services, or another related area recognised by Flourish Australia; transferable experience may also be considered.
- Strong verbal and written communication, plus well-developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Evidence of strong performance in job services or another customer-facing environment.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite and use a client information management system effectively.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
