About CareSuper
CareSuper is a profit-to-member super fund serving more than 600,000 members and managing $60 billion in assets. The organisation focuses on helping members retire with confidence and is expanding rapidly.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Employer Growth, this position is central to winning new employer partnerships and supporting membership expansion across important market segments. The role involves helping define growth priorities, spotting opportunities, influencing key decision-makers, and delivering commercial results that strengthen CareSuper’s standing as a preferred default fund.
This opportunity suits someone who wants to join an energetic, ambitious team focused on strong outcomes and meaningful value for employers and their employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, approach, and convert new and existing employer prospects to grow membership and funds under management while positioning CareSuper as the preferred default fund.
- Assess employer requirements, pain points, and workforce characteristics to provide tailored superannuation solutions that benefit both employers and members.
- Work with the wider Growth and Partnerships team to build the pipeline, qualify leads, progress tender opportunities, and support the acquisition of default employer arrangements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to progress acquisition activity and deliver aligned growth plans.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with HR leaders, CFOs, COOs, and other senior executives to improve engagement and commercial outcomes.
- Manage smooth onboarding for new employers, increasing member participation and supporting early retention results.
- Deliver a high-quality experience for employers and members that supports satisfaction, retention, and long-term fund growth.
About You
You will thrive in this role if you are motivated by improving retirement outcomes for members and contributing to strong fund performance. The ideal candidate brings a mix of commercial drive, relationship-building ability, and resilience.
Requirements
- Background in business development, relationship management, member-facing roles, or a similar area, ideally with superannuation or financial services exposure.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver persuasive, engaging presentations to senior executive audiences.
- Proven success in building and maintaining high-value stakeholder relationships that lead to commercial results.
- Strong people skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at different levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting and report preparation.
- Comfort using CRM platforms, especially Dynamics.
- Well-developed planning, organisation, and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel, hold a current driver’s licence, and attend meetings or events outside standard hours.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment and remain composed under pressure.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to approach challenges with a growth mindset.
- Tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline.
- RG146 qualification.
Perks and Benefits
- Hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
- 5 weeks of annual leave.
- Superannuation contribution at 15%.
- 3% superannuation guarantee above the industry minimum.
- Employer matching of additional salary sacrifice contributions up to 2%.
- 17 weeks of parental leave for eligible employees.
- Health and wellbeing support, including free annual flu vaccinations, skin checks, and an Employee Assistance Program.
- Access to professional development opportunities.
- Rewards and recognition program, plus employee discounts and cashback offers across a wide range of products and services.
