Role overview

To support this shift, the company is looking for an Employee Relations specialist who can manage complex casework, reduce risk, and help managers navigate sensitive employee matters with consistency and care.

This position plays an important part in maintaining fairness, trust, and compliance while supporting performance management, workplace investigations, and organizational change across several jurisdictions.

About the team

You will be part of the People Experience (PX) organization and work closely with ER Business Partners, PX Business Partners, and Legal teams across the EMEA region. The team focuses on building a strong performance culture, improving compliance, and handling workforce changes with a thoughtful and precise approach. The work environment values careful execution, empathy, and ongoing improvement as Zoom continues to scale.

Key responsibilities

The role centers on managing sensitive employee relations matters and supporting managers through complex workplace situations.

  • Handle high-risk employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
  • Make sure employment practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements across multiple EMEA countries.
  • Work with managers and PX Business Partners on performance issues and underperformance cases.
  • Carry out impartial investigations and maintain accurate, well-documented findings.
  • Help design and implement HR policies that reinforce a performance-oriented culture.
  • Track ER data, identify risk patterns, and share insights through analysis and reporting.
  • Coach leaders on giving effective feedback and applying performance standards consistently.
  • Support organizational change efforts with a careful, compliant, and people-focused approach.

  • Experience partnering with Legal teams on high-risk employment issues.
  • Empathetic approach that helps build trust and resolve cases fairly.
