Job Overview
The Employee Relations Partner III is a strategic advisor dedicated to enhancing employee relations by collaborating with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence (CoEs). This role is pivotal in shaping and implementing employee relations strategies that promote a positive and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise leadership on complex employee relations matters, aligning people strategies with organizational objectives to improve effectiveness.
- Develop and execute employee relations initiatives proactively to identify risks and nurture a respectful and fair work environment.
- Collaborate with HRBPs and CoEs to support change management efforts and encourage adoption of enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Resolve intricate employee relation cases independently using sound judgment and discretion, especially in ambiguous situations.
- Guide leaders on policy interpretation, performance management, and risk evaluation to establish accountability and meet departmental goals.
- Empower leaders to handle routine employee concerns by providing coaching on communication and documentation practices.
- Conduct thorough investigations, analyze findings, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate action plans.
- Analyze employee engagement data, case trends, and exit interviews to extract insights and recommend improvements to enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Leverage authorized AI tools to optimize communication, documentation, workflow efficiency while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
- Design and deliver comprehensive employee relations training programs to various organizational levels, both virtually and in person.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Equivalent relevant experience may substitute education.
- Minimum five years of experience managing complex employee relations across multiple organizational levels.
- Preferred experience working with HR Business Partners, CoEs, senior leadership, including C-suite executives.
- Experience supporting organizational change management and enterprise initiatives is desirable.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools for HR communications and process enhancement favored.

- Efficient time management and adeptness in handling multiple shifting priorities.
- Current knowledge of multi-state employment laws, trends, and employee relations best practices.

- Capability to navigate ambiguity and resolve complex workplace issues professionally.
- Urgency in managing sensitive employee matters with confidentiality.
- Proven expertise in conflict resolution, investigations, and problem-solving.
- Executive presence with the aptitude to influence and mentor leaders, including senior executives.
- Skill in enhancing leader confidence to independently manage routine employee relations matters.
- Competence with HRIS, data analytics, Microsoft Office suite, and approved AI tools including Copilot.
- Experience developing and delivering training to diverse organizational audiences.
Certifications
- Preferred certifications include Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or Strategic Human Resource Business Partner (sHRBP).
Work Environment
- General office setting requiring prolonged sitting or standing.
- Travel requirements are minimal or none.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $72,200 to $115,500 annually. Compensation is based on candidate’s education, experience, role complexity, and discretion required. Eligibility for performance bonuses and a comprehensive total rewards package is offered.
