The Regen site serves as a center of excellence for high-precision optics. Here, development and production are carried out on advanced equipment, with specialists working daily to satisfy demanding customer requirements. The site supplies highly accurate optical components to a broad range of markets, including medical devices such as dental cameras and endoscopes, aerospace head-up displays, aerial cameras, and specialized solutions for research and development.
Role Overview
This position focuses on quality inspection and handling of precision optical components in a manufacturing environment. The work includes detailed checks, cleaning, measurement, documentation, and coordination around nonconforming parts.
Responsibilities
- Check precision optical components for cleanliness and surface condition.
- Clean lens surfaces carefully and accurately.
- Carry out measurements and tests with different tools and instruments.
- Record and maintain lens-related data.
- Coordinate the handling of rejected parts and defects.
- Take part in control-loop activities and continuous improvement teams.
- Work in a rotating three-shift schedule.
Profile and Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as a precision optician or a technical vocational qualification, ideally in metalworking, precision optics, mechanical manufacturing, or a similar hands-on discipline; relevant practical experience may also be considered.
- Previous inspection experience is an advantage.
- Careful, tidy, accurate, and well-structured way of working, with a strong quality mindset.
- High sense of responsibility, initiative, and adaptability.
- Basic MS Office knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Readiness to work shifts.
