Job description
Position summary
The Emergency Medical Technician will deliver immediate first aid and emergency care at the project site, support workplace health and safety, and keep emergency response resources ready for use at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Give first aid and urgent medical support for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Attend medical emergencies and organize the transfer of injured staff when needed.
- Carry out regular health checks and assess employees’ fitness to continue working.
- Make sure the ambulance, medical tools, and emergency stock are fully prepared.
- Track medical supplies and check first aid boxes across project areas.
- Update medical files, incident logs, and other health-related records.
- Assist with occupational health, safety initiatives, and health education activities.
- Work closely with HSE and project management teams on medical and health concerns.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Medical Care, or a similar healthcare discipline.
- Active registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working as an EMT or Paramedic.
- Exposure to construction sites, industrial environments, camps, or occupational health settings is preferred.
