Role Overview
The Email Marketing Executive role entails planning, developing, and managing strategic email marketing campaigns aimed at generating qualified B2B leads. The candidate is expected to have hands-on experience with cold email outreach, ensuring email deliverability, and optimizing campaigns to meet set KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive email marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain targeted B2B email lists.
- Create compelling email content including subject lines aimed at high conversion.
- Customize campaigns to suit diverse industry sectors.
- Analyze campaign metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, reply rates, and bounce rates.
- Enhance inbox deliverability, focusing on domain reputation and spam prevention.
- Set up and manage email authentication protocols like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Conduct email warm-up processes to maintain domain credibility.
- Execute A/B testing to continually refine campaign effectiveness.
- Regularly validate and cleanse email databases.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to source qualified leads.
- Generate detailed weekly and monthly reports on campaign results.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in email marketing roles.
- Proficiency in popular email marketing tools such as Listmonk, Instantly, Smartlead, Mailchimp, Brevo, Lemlist, Apollo.io, GMass, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of SMTP, DNS, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC protocols.
- Experience in cold email outreach techniques and strategies to improve deliverability.
- Strong command of English with excellent communication and copywriting capabilities.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data management.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience specifically in B2B lead generation.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, or ZoomInfo as complementary tools.
- Basic HTML skills related to email template design.
Performance Metrics
- Open rates should exceed 40%.
- Reply rates targeted between 8% to 15% or higher.
- Bounce rates maintained below 3%.
