Job description
Position Overview
Springers Solar, Queensland's largest battery installation company, is looking for skilled electricians to join their dedicated team. This full-time, permanent position offers competitive hourly pay with opportunities for overtime and career growth in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, connect, and commission solar photovoltaic and battery systems efficiently and safely.
- Perform servicing and repairs as necessary to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain high standards in all work performed.
- Deliver excellent customer service ensuring client satisfaction on every project.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of $55 without required tickets, increasing to $60 with all relevant tickets plus Solar Accreditation (SAA).
- Availability of additional overtime hours for increased earnings.
- Thirteen rostered days off annually plus 17% leave loading.
- Free parking facilities at Lawnton headquarters; company transport provided eliminating travel expenses.
- Comprehensive training and support to obtain required tickets and SAA accreditation.
Work Environment and Location
Work is primarily based at Springers Solar’s Lawnton location, supported by a large team including laborers, roofers, and apprentices assigned to every project. Minimal roof work is required.
