Job description
Job Overview
We seek qualified electricians located near Lincoln, Canterbury, New Zealand, for a project expected to last 12 months. This opportunity involves working on various electrical installations and service maintenance tasks.
Working Hours
The working schedule is from Monday to Thursday, 16:00 to 04:00.
Project Responsibilities
- Carry out installation of all new lighting and power (L&P) services, including secondary PVC conduit systems.
- Install external lighting systems equipped with time clocks and photocells.
- Remove and strip out existing electrical services.
- Perform labelling and testing on all newly installed and existing circuits.
- Provide protection during work, perform cleaning after each shift, and ensure waste is transported to a designated central skip or location.
Key Requirements
- Possession of a CSCS Gold Card for Electricians.
- Electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent certification.
- Chartered & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection certification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Having an enhanced DBS check is preferable; assistance is available to obtain this if not already held.
Additional Information
This project guarantees 12 months of continuous work for a suitable candidate.
