Electrician - Conduit Installation for Security Systems and Data Center Projects

About the Role

We seek a skilled electrician to become part of our installation team, focusing on the conduit installation and routing of security and access control infrastructure within data center settings. This position involves working onsite in Mainz or Wiesbaden, specializing in critical infrastructure projects with strict adherence to German electrical standards and collaboration with multiple trades.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and shape 25mm galvanized steel conduit used for cabling related to CCTV, access control, and door hardware throughout multi-level buildings.
• Execute precision conduit bending using hand and power tools or equivalent pipe benders/cutters to ensure neat and compliant runs.
• Detect and resolve clashes between conduit pathways and existing building installations such as HVAC ducts, cable trays, sprinkler systems, and structural components.
• Safely perform drilling operations in reinforced concrete and various other materials.
• Assist in the installation of junction boxes and cable baskets, selecting appropriate fixtures and accessories.
• Collaborate daily with project supervisors and engineers to plan tasks and report progress.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines while working at heights employing MEWPs and personal protective equipment.

Qualifications Required

• Completed formal electrical trade qualification recognized in Germany, such as Elektroniker/in or Elektroinstallateur/in.
• Demonstrable practical experience in bending and installing galvanized steel conduit, preferably within security, low-voltage, or critical infrastructure settings.
• Proficiency with conduit bending and cutting tools, including familiarity with rebar and cover detection equipment.
• Ability to understand construction blueprints, containment layouts, and security component schedules for cameras and doors.
• Certification for operating MEWPs or willingness to obtain it.

Preferred Skills

• Previous involvement in data center or critical infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of German, English, or Arabic, both spoken and written.
