Role Overview
We are recruiting experienced Electricians for a HVAC Remediation project located on Barrow Island, Western Australia, offering a 9-month fixed-term contract. The position operates on a FIFO 2:1 roster and offers competitive hourly pay with additional penalty rates. Safety is paramount in all aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and terminate HVAC distribution boards and control panels, including fitting out internally, labelling, and conducting tests.
- Perform cable pulling and install containment systems to support HVAC power, control, and communication systems.
- Conduct electrical isolations and reinstatements, performing permit-controlled work within live environments.
- Work at heights using Elevated Work Platforms, ladders, and fixed access systems as per site safety protocols.
- Modify and restore lighting, general power outlets, and data services affected by HVAC upgrades.
- Carry out progressive testing and verification during project completion stages.
Essential Requirements
- Valid Western Australia Electrical Licence.
- Current Low Voltage Rescue/CPR certification and White Card.
- Competency in operating Elevated Work Platforms.
- Experience working within live and operational industrial facilities.
- Familiarity with HVAC electrical systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of permit-driven work conditions, including isolations, energisation, and controlled access procedures.
- Commitment to safety with a capability to follow stringent procedures and client regulations.

About Barrow Island Site
Barrow Island is situated around 60 kilometres from the mainland and is home to Chevron's Gorgon and WA Oil operations, constituting Western Australia's largest oil and gas field.
