About the Role
Join one of the largest global food producers, MBRF, a company dedicated to enriching lives through quality and innovation. As an Electrical Technician in Abu Dhabi, you will be crucial in managing electrical and control system maintenance to ensure seamless production and robust safety compliance.
Key Duties
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control system breakdowns within your responsibility area.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment to maintain operational condition.
- Implement and uphold electrical standards and operational procedures with high quality.
- Follow corrective, preventive, scheduled maintenance and Kanban systems effectively.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols (HSE) and coordinate with maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Handle chemical products safely and comply with HACCP, GMP, Food Defense, and other food safety protocols.
- Maintain workplace orderliness following 5S and GMP standards.
- Minimize equipment downtime by reducing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) through proactive line presence.
- Report anomalies through maintenance management system and ensure accurate maintenance documentation.
- Support company sustainability by following BRF's environmental and social governance policies in everyday activities.
Candidate Profile
- Solid knowledge of electrical controls including power and automation circuits.
- Experience in electrical maintenance within the food or FMCG sectors.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems of machinery.
- Familiar with country-specific electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Able to interpret engineering, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical drawings.
- Experience managing assets in food manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of food technology and safety standards.
- Basic communication skills with proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of analytical tools such as PDCA, root cause analysis (RCA), and 5S organizational methods.
- Adaptability in working hours and skills to provide cross-area support.
- Strong organizational capabilities and ability to collaborate in a multicultural team setting.
