Role Overview

This permanent role follows a 7 days on, 7 days off day-shift roster, operating on a fly-in-fly-out basis from Darwin or Cairns. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician (HV Linesperson), your primary duties involve performing electrical maintenance on high and low voltage systems, fixed plant machinery, and infrastructure adhering to established safety standards and work management procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and commission HV/LV supply, transmission, and distribution networks
• Conduct electrical tasks on fixed equipment, mobile generators, and infrastructure systems
• Support electrical power and lighting requirements across buildings, accommodation, and facility sites
• Detect, diagnose, and repair faults in electrical systems and equipment

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in electrical maintenance within transmission and distribution networks and demonstrate strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems is essential.

Required Qualifications and Licenses

• Trade Certificate – Electrical (Electrical Fitter Mechanic)
• Trade Certificate – Linesperson
• Northern Territory 'A' Grade Electrical Workers Licence
• HV switching and coordination certification within the last 2 years
• HR Class Driver's License
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and Working at Heights certification within the last 2 years
