About the Role

Based at Tawnaghmore in Killala, County Mayo, this permanent full-time position offers a salary ranging from €57,600 to €86,400, complemented by a performance-related bonus and various benefits that cater to your financial wellbeing and family life.

We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional specialized in electrical, instrumentation, or industrial plant operations to take on the role of Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor. This position involves direct leadership responsibilities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient functioning of the power station.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage maintenance operations across electrical and instrumentation equipment to maintain optimal plant functionality.
  • Plan and supervise contractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and adherence to technical, commercial, and environmental protocols.
  • Assist with engineering projects through stages including specification, procurement, execution, and commissioning.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and records to uphold compliance, support ongoing improvements, and enhance reliability.
  • Champion a robust safety culture by enforcing safe work practices and regulatory compliance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess an accredited trade qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering, or hold a comparable technical certification.
  • Experience within power generation, utilities, manufacturing, process industries, or akin industrial settings.
  • Proven background in overseeing maintenance tasks and managing contractor operations safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software like Maximo and an understanding of maintenance planning and control procedures.
  • A commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and problem resolution with an ability to question current practices and develop enhanced solutions.
