The position supports a global pharmaceutical organisation that is expanding its capital projects and production footprint, offering the chance to work on major site delivery work in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the on-site client representative for all Electrical & Instrumentation activity during the delivery and execution stages, working under the E&I Work Package Owner or Senior Project Manager.
  • Function as the technical authority for the client across installation work and ensure the E&I scope is delivered to the required standard.
  • Coordinate the handoff and collaboration between design, construction, CQV teams, and operations so timelines are protected, designs are buildable, and the move from Mechanical Completion to Commissioning & Qualification runs smoothly.
  • Monitor installation quality, manage relationships with vendors and contractors, and resolve technical challenges across a large and complex project environment.

Required background

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical manufacturing, especially in GMP-controlled settings, is important.
  • Strong project management experience is needed, including hands-on delivery on pharmaceutical projects.
  • Applicants should have a proven record of leading E&I work on major projects involving demolition, cleanrooms, HVAC, MEP, utilities, and process equipment installation.
  • Experience on the client side, or in a client-representative capacity, will be considered a strong advantage.
