Role Overview
The Educational Counselor role, based at HomeGuru, supports prospective and current learners and educators in selecting appropriate courses, programs, and tutors aligned with their academic interests and skill levels. This position is primarily work-from-home and involves conducting counseling sessions through phone calls, video conferences, and digital communication to explain platform offerings and learning pathways.
Counselors will maintain detailed records of consultations, follow up with prospective leads, collaborate closely with operations and academic teams to ensure smooth learning journeys, and provide ongoing assistance by addressing inquiries and contributing feedback to enhance counseling services.
Key Qualifications
- Strong expertise in educational consulting with deep understanding of curricula and academic pathways.
- Proficient in student counseling techniques to assist learners in informed course and tutor selection.
- Knowledgeable in career counseling to guide alignment of educational choices with long-term professional objectives.
