About the Role
Join Milk Education as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant at our vibrant Manchester office. We're a well-recognized education recruitment agency dedicated to connecting outstanding teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff with schools throughout the UK. This position offers a base salary of 3,000 plus uncapped commission, with work hours Monday to Friday starting at 7:15am during term time.
This opportunity suits those eager to launch a recruitment career or who have a background in education and want to transition into recruitment. Experience such as Teacher, Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor, or Tutor will be beneficial, providing valuable insight into school challenges and aiding relationship building with both schools and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate your role as a 180 Recruitment Consultant by identifying and interviewing exceptional education professionals, primarily across Primary, Secondary, and SEND fields.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with candidates and education institutions.
- Align candidates with suitable school vacancies and foster a robust candidate network.
- Communicate the benefits and services Milk Education offers to schools, managing recruitment pipelines and candidate availability.
- Maintain up-to-date candidate activity records in the CRM system and contribute positively to a high-performance team environment.
- Progress toward and achieve individual and team key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Advance into a 360 Recruitment Consultant role, managing your client portfolio and expanding business opportunities as you gain experience.

- Backgrounds in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, or other people-oriented industries are advantageous, though not mandatory.
