Role Overview
This position is dedicated to strengthening Elite Education's presence in the Singapore market by providing expert guidance to students seeking admission to international schools, boarding schools, and universities primarily in the US and UK.
Primary Duties
- Drive growth initiatives by delivering specialized education counseling services focused on international and boarding school applications.
- Collaborate closely with Singaporean educational institutions to foster and sustain strategic partnerships.
- Utilize and manage digital platforms to monitor application deadlines, student progress, and all necessary documentation.
- Create market-specific educational strategies tailored to the unique characteristics of Singapore’s education system.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth evaluations of students' academic records to develop individualized education plans.
- Administer complex application procedures for international schools and universities.
- Oversee and manage multiple deadlines and application requirements effectively.
- Prepare students and their parents thoroughly for interviews related to admissions.
- Securely handle documentation and keep all parties informed with consistent communication.
- Coordinate and supervise personalized tutoring sessions and academic support initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree, ideally from a top 50 university in the US, Oxbridge, or National University of Singapore (NUS).
- Preference for prior experience in undergraduate admissions consulting for US/UK universities.
- Strong enthusiasm for mentoring young adults with an understanding of international perspectives.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities; experience in project or product management and event coordination is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin, with strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage various stakeholders including students, parents, and internal teams.
- Capability to work independently under pressure, showing adaptability within a fast-expanding organization.
- Background in education, tutoring, coaching, or admissions counseling is preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in Singapore is mandatory.
