Job description
Overview
Working under the guidance of the Recreation Programmer, the Education Coordinator - Sports manages the execution of sports programs designed for preschool and youth participants. This role encompasses devising lesson plans, overseeing part-time sports instructors, and guaranteeing high-quality program delivery. Additionally, the coordinator is tasked with arranging and dismantling equipment and program sites, as well as providing recommendations for equipment procurements.
Experience and Education
The ideal candidate has prior experience in a sports-related environment or supervisory capacity. A High School diploma or equivalent is required, with preference given to those who have undertaken some college coursework.
Required Skills and Training

- Completion of First Aid and CPR certification upon employment.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Work Schedule and Start Date
The position is open for immediate start. Work commitment ranges between 10 to 20 hours weekly, predominantly on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings and early afternoons. There are occasional weekday shifts available, with the exact schedule tailored to the applicant's availability.
