Role overview
Gateway to Automotive is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Education Consultant / Learning & Development Specialist to help shape, deliver, and refine educational and professional growth programs. The position is centered on building impactful learning experiences, improving learner participation, and helping people and organizations reach their development objectives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will evaluate learning requirements, build training approaches, and design educational solutions that fit both organizational priorities and learner needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to uncover capability gaps, suggest development actions, and create programs that drive better performance and long-term progress.
Your work will include preparing learning materials, creating training content, leading workshops and learning sessions, and reviewing how well programs are working. You will design engaging experiences across classroom, virtual, and blended formats while keeping the content practical, relevant, and focused on the learner.
You will also carry out training needs analysis, track learner development, collect feedback, and use insights and data to improve outcomes. In addition, you may support learning technology adoption, maintain educational resources, and contribute to learning frameworks and competency-based development programs.
Additional responsibilities
The role may further involve coaching learners, assisting with onboarding and professional development activities, preparing reports and presentations, and researching new developments in education, training, and workforce learning.
Qualifications and capabilities

- Solid grasp of learning and development, education, training, or instructional design principles.
- Understanding of adult learning theory and ways to keep learners engaged.
- Ability to design, build, and deliver effective training programs and educational content.
- Experience producing instructional materials, presentations, guides, and learning resources.
- Familiarity with learning management systems, e-learning tools, and digital learning technologies.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
- Capability to assess learning needs and spot development opportunities.
- Good analytical skills for measuring learning effectiveness and performance results.
- Excellent organization and project coordination skills.
