Job description

About the role

Siemens Healthineers is looking for an Education Business Development Manager to help shape and implement education-focused solutions that address workforce capacity gaps in healthcare. The role places particular emphasis on radiology technologists, radiologists, laboratory professionals, and biomedical engineers. It is offered as a full-time onsite position and may be based in Erlangen, Dubai, or Abu Dhabi.

The company describes a work environment that is dynamic, flexible, and designed to support both personal and professional growth. Depending on the agreement with the manager, up to an average of 60% of working time may be done remotely within Germany. In addition, remote work from abroad may be possible for up to 30 days per year, subject to specific conditions and in selected countries.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the global Government Affairs team to assess and address capacity gaps in Siemens Healthineers’ target countries, and support country leadership and partner networks in capacity-building tenders.
  • Drive the tender process for capacity-building work, coordinate the exchange of relevant documents between Siemens Healthineers, ministries of health, and NGOs, manage bid activities, and monitor tender progress to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Help design capacity-building solutions by combining Siemens Healthineers’ portfolio with local partners, with attention to specific clinical domains and workflows.
  • Coordinate all stages of capacity-building projects, including planning, tracking, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Maintain content quality for capacity-building initiatives and nurture relationships with business partners.

Requirements

  • A university degree in medicine, business, or engineering, ideally with a focus on health economics or medical technology.
  • Extensive professional experience in designing organizational training and education programs, preferably in a healthcare provider setting.
  • Hands-on experience with tendering and bid management in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to work across internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Good understanding of clinical workflows and hospital processes.
  • Confident English communication; very good German skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to present complex topics clearly in English and, ideally, in another language used in the region, both in writing and speaking.
  • Proven ability to support teams and earn trust from customers and colleagues through collaborative working.
  • Willingness to travel within the region when required, approximately 15%.
