About the Role
The Ecommerce Photographer will join the Ecommerce Content Production team and play an important part in producing polished, consistent product imagery across a range of channels. The position supports both creative output and commercial objectives while keeping work aligned with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality product and model images for B2B, B2C, and partner platforms, maintaining brand consistency and visual standards throughout.
- Get products ready for shooting by styling, steaming, cleaning, and labelling items so they are fully prepared for the studio.
- Set up and run lighting, camera gear, and studio environments to keep shoots efficient and well executed.
- Handle files carefully, including correct naming, metadata entry, and orderly asset management according to studio workflow.
- Transfer imagery to the post-production team through Capture One and Dropbox within the agreed turnaround times to keep the workflow moving smoothly.
- Coordinate with retouching teams so the final imagery meets the required quality benchmark.
- Partner with stylists, brand teams, and Studio Coordinators to deliver against shoot schedules, timelines, and performance targets.
- Guide models on set when needed to help achieve the desired shots and maintain pace during production.
- Look after studio equipment and keep the workspace clean, organised, and fully operational, raising issues when necessary.
- Contribute to wider studio operations and help maintain a positive, collaborative, fast-moving team culture.
Requirements
- Previous experience in ecommerce photography or a comparable high-output studio setting.
- Solid understanding of studio lighting and camera equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of Mac and PC systems, along with advanced capability in Photoshop and Capture One Pro, which are essential.
- Background in still-life photography; retouching experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent organisation and a sharp eye for detail.
- Comfortable working to strict deadlines and staying effective under pressure.
- Clear communicator who works well in a team-based environment.
- Proactive problem-solver who can use initiative to improve workflows and outcomes.
- Current awareness of industry tools, trends, and techniques.
Benefits
- Employee discounts.
- Health and wellbeing support, including private medical insurance, employee assistance, gym discounts, and access to financial planning services.
- Perkbox discounts and a wellness hub.
- Cycle to work scheme.
- Generous annual leave.
- Pension scheme.
- Training plus practical, hands-on experience.
- Opportunities to develop new capabilities and gain valuable industry insight.
