Role overview
Newton British School in Al Waab is looking for an energetic, adaptable and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher to become part of its established team. The school wants a teacher who can help children reach strong academic outcomes in a safe, vibrant and stimulating environment while using differentiated teaching and varied learning approaches in everyday classroom practice.

Candidate profile
The school is seeking qualified teachers with a Bachelor’s degree plus PGCE, or applicants with a Bachelor’s degree followed by a postgraduate qualification in Education, or a B.Ed. Candidates should bring a creative, enthusiastic and engaging approach, alongside strong IT and interpersonal skills. They must also meet the expectations of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar (MOEHE).

- Full-time study is required, along with degree transcripts and a letter from the university confirming full-time study.
- Applicants must be able to supply references, disclosures, police clearance certificates and ICPCs for every previous place of work and for all countries lived in during the last 10 years.
- A CV must include complete employment history with exact dates, full contact details and the names of three professional referees.
- At least one referee should be from the most recent employer.
- Any employment gaps should be explained.
- A covering letter or personal statement must be submitted, outlining suitability for the position.
