About the Company

A1 is developing a proactive AI smart assistant designed to help everyday users with conversations, errands, organisation, and workflow-related tasks. The product is built around dependable execution for long-running workflows, lasting context, and completion of real-world tasks. It needs to manage multi-step reasoning, work with external tools, and stay reliable even when model outputs are not fully predictable.

Role Overview

This position supports the full hiring process for product, engineering, and business functions at A1. It is a practical, execution-heavy role where you will partner with recruiters and hiring managers to keep recruitment moving efficiently and accurately. The opportunity suits someone early in their career who wants to learn how strong technical hiring is done in a real working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the complete hiring workflow for different roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer-related support.
  • Find candidates through multiple channels such as professional networks, referrals, job boards, and direct outreach.
  • Review resumes and conduct first-round candidate conversations to evaluate basic fit, motivation, and communication ability.
  • Arrange interviews, manage schedules, and gather feedback from candidates and hiring managers.
  • Keep candidate information current and accurate in the applicant tracking system, while maintaining strong data quality and consistent process execution.
  • Contribute to recruiting initiatives and process enhancements as the team grows, including work that improves candidate experience and employer branding.
  • Help ensure recruiting operations stay structured, responsive, and fast-moving.

Requirements

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, operations, coordination, or a related function; fresh graduates with a strong interest in recruiting are also encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent organisation and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Comfort using tools such as Google Sheets or Excel, along with basic applicant tracking systems.
  • Self-driven, eager to learn, and open to feedback.
  • Capable of juggling several tasks at once and following through dependably.
  • Previous recruiting experience is an advantage, though it is not mandatory; curiosity, attitude, and execution are valued most.
