About the Role

We are a profitable compression apparel brand operating on Amazon and Shopify, distinguished by superior product quality and brand experience. This full-time contract role offers $3,000 to $4,500 USD per month plus performance-related bonuses and allows you to work remotely from anywhere. Reporting directly to the founder, you will take ownership of executing marketing strategies across various channels, leveraging advanced AI tools from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and publish 3 to 5 posts weekly on Instagram and TikTok, producing or directing short form video content independently.
  • Monitor emerging social media trends aligned with the athletic brand ethos and manage online community interactions including direct messages, comments, and sourcing user-generated content.
  • Utilize AI tools for image and video production to amplify creative output while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Manage email marketing via Privy with 2 to 4 weekly campaigns and essential flows such as welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandon, post-purchase, and win-back sequences, aiming for email-driven revenue of 20-30% within one year.
  • Maintain and optimize Amazon product listings and A+ content to ensure they lead the category through compelling copy, infographics, comparisons, and video; refresh imagery to drive conversions while PPC is handled separately.
  • Oversee the Shopify store end to end, including product detail pages, collection pages, homepage, navigation, and blog content; conduct structured conversion rate optimization tests with clear hypotheses and metrics.
  • Support content preparation and marketing strategies as we expand into new markets and audiences.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess 3 to 5 years of in-house experience with DTC brands, preferably in apparel, activewear, or consumer packaged goods, with a versatile marketing skill set.
  • Be naturally immersed in short form platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels.
  • Have deep proficiency in Klaviyo for email marketing and solid experience with Shopify including Liquid basics and theme adjustments.
  • Use AI-driven content creation tools daily and hold informed opinions about their applications.
  • Exhibit strong English writing skills; knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with proactive planning and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Prefer a hands-on operator role rather than team management or agency oversight.

What This Role isn’t

  • This position does not involve setting brand strategy nor managing teams.
  • Agency or freelancer management is not a focus; this role demands doing the marketing work personally.
  • Those needing detailed briefs for every task might not find this role suitable.

Compensation and Work Structure

  • Monthly base salary between $3,000 and $4,500 USD based on experience.
  • Quarterly bonuses tied to email revenue contribution, direct-to-consumer conversion rates, and content output/engagement metrics.
  • Full coverage of AI software, tools, and stock assets expenses.
  • 100% remote, full-time workload (~40 hours per week) with minimum 4-hour overlapping availability with US Eastern Time.
  • A 12-month contract with intention to renew for long-term growth.
