We are experiencing continued growth and expansion, particularly in eBusiness solutions integrating vending technology, online sales platforms, and digital marketing.

Role Overview

The E-Business Support Specialist will play a critical role based at our Limerick head office. Responsibilities span from managing e-procurement integrations, supporting various technical setups including EDI and catalog management, to collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders for seamless system integration and operational excellence.

Key Duties

• Set up and manage customer e-procurement connections and integration of automated order processes via SAP ERP.
• Be the primary contact for EDI technical configurations and handle post-implementation support including static catalogue management and punchout integrations.
• Work closely with IT departments and external partners to establish system requirements and resolve connectivity challenges.
• Develop and execute test cases simulating live transaction environments, including orders, invoices, and credit notes in SAP.
• Maintain and update the e-procurement system configurations, ensuring all records and deadlines are meticulously managed.
• Troubleshoot ERP-related issues impacting online orders and access.
• Support sales teams by resolving technical queries related to eBusiness platforms.
• Monitor promotional inventory levels and generate consistent KPIs and performance reports.
• Act as the lead for SAP Analytics Cloud, creating dashboards and analytical reports for strategic business decisions.
• Drive automation and improvements across eBusiness reporting procedures.
• Organize and maintain a central repository of marketing materials, ensuring digital assets like videos, images, and presentations are current and accessible.
• Develop and update customer-facing presentations and demos showcasing Wurth's digital product offerings.
• Analyze eBusiness metrics and provide actionable insights to foster growth and operational efficiencies.

Required Competencies

• Familiarity with eProcurement workflows is preferred.
• Experience with SAP ERP platforms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI is beneficial.
• Strong analytical aptitude specifically for evaluating connectivity solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions like pivot tables.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills combined with effective time management to meet deadlines.
• Clear communication abilities to interpret and explain technical information to non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills geared towards technical and operational issues.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and systems efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
