Job Purpose
The Duty Manager will oversee the daily operations of the hotel's restaurant and bar, ensuring excellent guest experiences, driving revenue, maintaining compliance standards, and inspiring a high-performing team aligned with Radisson RED Auckland's benchmarks.

- Achieving guest satisfaction scores of 90% or higher
- Attainment of revenue and labor cost targets
- Keeping food and beverage expenses within planned budgets
- Maintaining compliance with brand audit standards

- Adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the restaurant and bar team to ensure top performance
- Create staff rosters and manage team performance evaluations
- Manage day-to-day restaurant and bar activities to guarantee smooth operations
- Supervise bar functions, including inventory control and order placements
- Ensure the delivery of quality service consistent with brand standards
- Coordinate efforts with kitchen and event teams to optimize service
- Oversee financial controls related to labor, food, and beverage expenses
- Conduct stocktakes and identify revenue enhancement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with New Zealand food safety laws, liquor licensing, and workplace health and safety regulations
Qualifications & Experience
- Three to five years of leadership experience in hotel food and beverage operations
- Possession of LCQ (Licensed Controller Qualification) and Manager’s Certificate
- Exceptional leadership abilities and communication skills
- Experience working with Opera Cloud, POS systems, and Oracle is advantageous
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays
