Role overview
We are hiring a versatile drone professional based in Singapore who can handle UAV operations, aerial content capture, and training support. The role combines field execution, post-processing, equipment upkeep, and instructional duties for learners at different levels.
The compensation for this position is S$4,000 to S$6,000 per month.
Drone operations and content production
- Carry out UAV missions for a range of project needs, with a strong focus on safe and effective execution.
- Prepare mission plans, set up equipment, and manage drone work on site.
- Complete follow-up production tasks such as editing video, stitching orthophotos, creating maps, and compiling reports.
- Inspect, maintain, diagnose, and resolve issues with UAV systems and related gear.
- Support internal test flights, product demonstrations, and data gathering exercises.
- Follow aviation rules and the organisation’s SOPs at all times during operations.
Training and instructional duties
- Design and conduct drone training sessions for participants with varying experience levels.
- Teach students about drone parts, flight controls, safety practices, and airspace regulations.
- Lead practical training in drone handling, manoeuvres, and mission-based flying.
- Track learner progress and offer coaching to strengthen confidence and skill.
- Intervene and take command of UAVs if a training situation becomes unsafe or emergency action is required.
- Keep accurate training logs and assessment documentation.
- Escalate any training incidents to the Head of Department.
Requirements
- A diploma in any field or an equivalent credential is required.
- Applicants should have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in drone operations, UAV-related projects, or technical field work.
- Hands-on technical capability and a strong practical mindset are important.
- Working knowledge of drone flight procedures, safety standards, and aviation regulations is expected.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal ability are needed.
- The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and attentive to detail.
- This role requires comfort with outdoor and field-based work settings.
- Willingness to travel internationally for deployments and training is necessary.
- You should be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
