Job description
Role Overview
This position combines delivery driving with warehouse support. The role is focused on making sure customer deliveries arrive on schedule, paperwork is completed correctly, and warehouse handling supports smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Duties
- Carry out daily deliveries to customers and site locations within the required time frame.
- Confirm that every delivery note is signed and stamped by the customer before completion.
- Check that the physical goods match the quantities shown on the delivery note.
- Apply FIFO principles when selecting stock for dispatch.
- Escalate any batch-related concerns to the operations team.
- Support incoming goods movements from source shipments, including unloading and stacking.
- Coordinate closely with the operations and customer service teams to keep daily activities running smoothly.
