Role overview
Mitre 10 MEGA Hornby is a family-run business in Christchurch that places a strong emphasis on delivering outstanding service to every customer, every time. This is a full-time position in the Drive Thru area, supporting both trade and DIY customers. Experience with timber and building products is important for success in this role.
What the role involves
You will work as part of the Drive Thru team and report to the Drive Thru Supervisor. The role is rostered from Tuesday to Saturday and is expected to average about 40 hours each week.
What we’re looking for
The ideal person will bring a positive attitude, strong team spirit, and a genuine commitment to excellent customer service. Reliability, honesty, clear communication, and a willingness to keep learning are all important. A full driver’s licence is required, and you should already have, or be willing to obtain, a forklift licence and F endorsement.
Experience preference
Prior retail experience and/or hands-on experience with timber and building products would be an advantage. However, applicants with a solid retail background and a strong desire to learn will also be considered.
