Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Dubai is for a pattern maker who will turn design drawings and technical notes into precise garment patterns for dresses and evening gowns. The role centers on achieving an excellent fit, dependable construction, and a smooth sampling process.

Core Work

You will draft new patterns, adjust existing ones, participate in fittings, and work closely with designers and sample makers to perfect shape and garment details. The position also requires regular use of both manual pattern-making methods and CAD tools, along with active problem-solving when fit or construction issues arise.

Quality and Production Support

In addition to pattern development, you will help review pattern and sample quality so that all pieces align with brand expectations and production needs.

Skills and Experience

• Practical knowledge of pattern creation and pattern development for dresses and evening wear.
• Comfortable making fit adjustments across different body types and sizes.
• Solid sewing knowledge to better understand garment assembly and sampling.
• Experience using CAD software for drafting and grading patterns.
• Careful with measurements, accuracy, and fabric behavior.
• Able to coordinate effectively with designers, tailors, and production teams in a busy environment.
• Experience in luxury or premium dress and evening wear pattern making is a strong advantage.
