About the Role
At The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal, a Doorman plays a vital role in shaping the initial and lasting impressions guests have during their arrival and departure. As a part of the Rooms & Guest Services Operations team, the Doorman is dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality that transforms routine transactions into memorable encounters. The role demands active movement and assistance, involving helping guests with their requests, managing operational duties, and sharing information about local attractions in a welcoming manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a warm and professional first impression as guests arrive and depart the hotel.
- Provide hands-on assistance with luggage handling, ensuring safe movement of items weighing up to 50 pounds independently and heavier ones with help.
- Respond proactively to guest needs and operational requirements to facilitate smooth check-in and check-out experiences.
- Maintain company policies, uphold confidentiality, and protect hotel assets.
- Adhere strictly to quality and service standards set by The Ritz-Carlton, including maintaining professional appearance and conduct.
Candidate Requirements
- Education level of high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior related work experience necessary.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
