Role Overview
We are committed to supporting Veterans through the Veterans Home Care Program. As a Domestic Support Worker, you will assist clients in their homes with light domestic duties including laundry, meal preparation, cleaning, community access, and personal support.
Key Duties
- Perform laundry services to support client needs.
- Prepare meals in clients' residences.
- Carry out cleaning tasks maintaining client homes.
- Assist clients with activities involving community access.
- Provide personal support assistance as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning related roles is essential.
- Ability to adhere to a fixed fortnightly roster ensuring consistent availability.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with reliable vehicle access.
- Ownership of a smartphone for communication and coordination purposes.
- Capability to secure Blue and NDIS Worker screening cards as part of compliance.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the designated area to reach clients.
