Role overview

Agincare is inviting applications for a Housekeeper position at Cheriton Care Home in Dorchester. This opportunity is suited to someone who wants meaningful work in a supportive environment and enjoys contributing to a safe, comfortable setting for residents. Work location

You will be based at Cheriton Care Home in Dorchester, Dorset. The home has a CQC rating of Good.

What the role involves

  • Keeping shared areas clean, tidy, and safe for both residents and staff.
  • Carrying out domestic duties such as dusting, polishing, and vacuuming residents’ bedrooms, while using warning signs where needed.
  • Working with the home management team to help maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the home.
  • Offering friendly support, communication, and day-to-day engagement to residents.

Hours and working pattern

This is a 42-hour per week position, with alternate weekends included. Working hours are either 08:00 to 14:00 or 09:00 to 15:00.
