Job description
Position Overview
The Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking dedicated Domestic Assistants to join their team. These roles offer flexible, patient-centered cleaning services across hospital environments, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.
Working Hours and Employment Type
- Permanent full-time position: Monday to Friday, 11am to 7pm
- Permanent part-time position: Saturday and Sunday, 7am to 3pm
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness to a high standard throughout various hospital areas according to specified cleaning protocols.
- Use and manage cleaning chemicals and equipment carefully following health and safety regulations.
- Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors by properly employing warning signs during cleaning tasks.
- Operate independently or collaboratively within a team to fulfill cleaning duties aligning with organizational policies and national standards, supervised as needed.
- Engage with patients and their families in a friendly, respectful, and sensitive manner.
Eligibility and Visa Notice
This role does not qualify for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker visa due to salary and skill level thresholds. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
