Role Overview
The Domestic Assistant will be responsible for carrying out various cleaning tasks throughout the home, ensuring a consistently high standard of hygiene and cleanliness, particularly within kitchen and storage zones.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness throughout the residence, emphasizing kitchen and storage areas.
- Ensure that all work surfaces and floor spaces remain clean and well-kept.
- Perform vacuuming, washing, polishing, and cleaning duties in residents' bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces.
- Recognize ongoing cleaning and maintenance requirements ahead of time.
- Identify future needs for cleaning supplies and equipment within the home.
- Adhere strictly to all Company protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Exemplify the organization's core values in daily duties.
- Build open, sincere, and considerate relationships with residents to support safe, fulfilling, and happy lives.

Work Location Details
This position is based at Holly Lodge, a residential home located a fifteen-minute walk from Lymington town centre in the picturesque New Forest. Holly Lodge accommodates up to eleven individuals with moderate to severe learning difficulties and autism. The home features numerous communal leisure areas including a shared lounge and activities room. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and are currently undergoing renovations. The property includes a large garden and a hidden smaller garden space. Residents engage in a variety of personalised and group activities such as arts and crafts as well as frequent excursions around the New Forest and local beaches. Holly Lodge operates 24/7 staffing and offers in-house positive behaviour support to enhance emotional and general wellbeing.
