Documentation and Training Specialist

Role Overview

A global food and beverage ingredient manufacturer’s production facility in Carrollton, TX, seeks a Documentation and Training Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity at $35 per hour through RPC Company with full W-2 benefits. This position primarily supports day shifts with occasional flexibility to aid second or third shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire training matrix, including onboarding, specific job training, annual refresher courses, environmental health and safety (EHS), food safety training, and monitor attendance for all sessions.
• Identify gaps or outdated procedures in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), collaborate with area leadership and quality assurance (QA) to create and update documentation, ensuring the library remains compliant and inspection-ready.
• Participate actively as a member of the internal audit and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) teams.
• Conduct training sessions effectively to secure team engagement and compliance without relying on positional authority.

Job Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing, production, quality assurance, or environmental health and safety (EHS).
• Proficiency with ERP software and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Spanish language skills are preferred but not essential.

Additional Information

The role is for a W-2 employee under a three-month contract with the possibility of transitioning to permanent employment. The facility operates primarily on day shifts with occasional variations to support other shifts.
