Role Overview
Knix is seeking a District Manager to oversee a portfolio of retail stores across the GTA and Southwestern Ontario. This role is responsible for driving store performance, strengthening team culture, and delivering an outstanding customer experience across multiple locations. Reporting to the Director of Retail Operations, you will help scale operational excellence and support business growth in a fast-expanding retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee operational standards, visual merchandising execution, and overall brand presentation across all stores in your district.
- Introduce tools and processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and store execution.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and ongoing improvement.
- Manage scheduling and payroll efficiently while using performance data to improve sales and profitability.
- Work with Store Managers to build and deliver business plans tied to KPIs and company objectives.
- Spot opportunities to grow conversion, ATV, and other important retail metrics.
- Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers so they can run high-performing teams.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and broader talent development across the district.
- Help create a values-based culture centered on inclusion, integrity, and strong execution.
- Ensure customer experience standards remain consistent across every store.
- Use customer feedback and insights to improve loyalty, retention, and store strategy.
- Support community involvement and grassroots marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of multi-unit retail leadership experience, preferably in apparel, lifestyle, or customer-focused businesses.
- A demonstrated history of guiding high-performing teams and achieving strong financial outcomes.
- Experience handling P&L responsibility, labor planning, and retail operations at scale.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel regularly between stores in the assigned region.

Compensation & Care
The expected compensation for this role is $98,000 to $120,000 per year. Knix explains that pay transparency is important to them, and the posted rate reflects skill development, with higher rates available for greater proficiency and deeper knowledge.
