Position Overview
The District Manager, reporting to the Regional Manager, is integral to managing accounts across a designated district. Collaborating with the National Field Team and National Account Management, the role focuses on sustaining and growing key accounts by managing providers and technicians, conducting regular customer site visits, and creating business opportunities. You'll help meet revenue targets while upholding service quality and manage budget responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Regional and National teams to maintain and expand corporate accounts within the district.
- Conduct routine site inspections and audits to support maintenance contracts and identify upselling opportunities.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, providers, and technicians in the assigned area.
- Source, evaluate, and oversee providers and technicians to guarantee service excellence.
- Respond promptly to customer escalations and requests with urgency.
- Efficiently manage time to meet weekly scheduled visits and exceed incremental revenue goals.
- Provide market insights contributing to DMG’s strategic initiatives.
- Lead Requests for Proposals (RFP) and negotiate with providers to achieve financial objectives.
- Manage district and travel budgets, ensuring expenses remain within limits.
- Support insurance claim investigations as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Comfortable using smart devices such as iPads or iPhones; experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are required.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset; able to work independently.
- Strong strategic and creative thinking skills; energetic and engaging personality with a preference for customer and provider interaction, undeterred by rejection.
- Capable of fulfilling physically demanding aspects of the job, including 90% onsite activity, outdoor site audits, managing disaster-related duties, and flexible travel and scheduling.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments and manage stress effectively.
- Able to meet in-person team and business requirements.
