Responsibilities

• Manage the scheduling and dispatching of delivery and pick-up shipments within the Erfurt branch area.
• Adhere to legal regulations, optimize economic utilization, and meet customer and network requirements. Monitor operations and independently address deviations to maintain our quality standards for deliveries and pickups.
• Receive customer orders and coordinate their execution using our dedicated pick-up dispatching tool.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and ADR regulations when handling dangerous goods transport.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and drivers, maintaining close communication with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Completed training in logistics or freight forwarding, or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of market conditions, transport companies, geography, and regulations related to driving and rest times.
• Preferably some work experience in dispatching within a freight forwarding company.
• High degree of personal responsibility, assertiveness, and excellent communication skills.
