Role Summary

We are looking for a full-time, on-site Dispatcher in Batala, Punjab. In this position, you will organize driver schedules, build efficient routes, and track vehicle movement throughout the day. You will serve as the communication point between drivers, customers, and internal staff to coordinate pickups and deliveries, address delays, and resolve service-related issues. The role also includes maintaining accurate trip, load, and incident records, keeping activities aligned with company procedures and transport regulations, and supporting maintenance coordination when vehicles need attention. The job calls for a calm approach under pressure, quick decision-making, and consistent updates to all involved parties.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan driver assignments and organize schedules based on operational needs.
• Create and adjust routes to support efficient and timely movement of vehicles.
• Monitor vehicle status and location across the workday.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams regarding pickup and delivery timing.
• Respond to delays, service disruptions, and other operational issues as they arise.
• Keep clear and accurate records of trips, cargo loads, and incidents.
• Update dispatch systems or manual logs as required.
• Prioritize urgent requests and support fast resolution of time-sensitive matters.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams whenever vehicles require servicing.
• Follow company policies and transportation rules while supporting safe operations.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning and time-management skills to juggle several requests at once.
• Comfort using dispatch or logistics software, GPS tools, and everyday computer applications such as email and spreadsheets.
• Good judgment and problem-solving ability for handling route changes, delays, and unexpected situations in real time.
• Working knowledge of transportation or logistics operations; familiarity with Batala area routes and traffic conditions is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in a busy environment, with occasional extended or flexible hours when operations require it.
• High school diploma or equivalent; extra training or prior experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation is preferred.
• Commitment to safety, service quality, and precise documentation.
