Job Overview
HighWheeler Cafe in Baddeck, Nova Scotia, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher / Cleaner to join their team on a full-time basis. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across dishes, kitchen, and dining spaces, ensuring support for the kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station, ensuring supplies are well-stocked.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, sinks, and food preparation areas thoroughly.
- Keep dining areas, including tables, chairs, and washrooms, tidy and sanitary.
- Sweep and mop restaurant floors regularly to uphold hygiene standards.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Store cleaning supplies properly and handle cleaning chemicals as per safety instructions.
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and patrons.
- Perform additional cleaning and general support tasks as assigned.

Compensation and Schedule
- Hourly wage of $20.00.
- Full-time employment with a work shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Competitive pay with potential for additional work hours.
